Indeed, the nearest among mankind to Ibrahim are verily those who are following him as well as this Prophet and those who believed; and Lord Allah is the Protector of the believers.
The Jews and Christians during the period of Messenger Muhammed were claiming and arguing that we are the followers of prophets Ibrahim, Ishaq, Yahqoob, and you have come to us with new argument. Being a reply to this, it is told in this verse that this prophet (Messenger Muhammed) and the believers with him are the followers of prophet Ibrahim, and you have no right to claim so. Today the followers of Last Messenger Muhammed are not anyone one among the Arabic Qur’an Reading Fujjar who are celebrating the death anniversary of Messenger as explained in verse 7: 130, or are included in different organisations of Fujjar, but are those who propagate Adhikr to entire mankind. They are the only ones who follow Adhikr which is the only Straight path which all Messengers and prophets including Ibrahim, Ishaq, Ismael, Moses, Jesus, Muhammed, etc. followed. The Fujjar who are reading these verses in Arabic Qur'an are the liars, and they have been killed by the Lord as told in verses 63: 1-4. They ridicule the odd believer who testifies Adhikr as an odd liar as told in verses 38: 8 and 54: 25. Those who don’t hear and see the Book Dhikree are the disbelievers into Hell as explained in verse 18: 101. Impartial Lord doesn’t guide anyone to Hell or Paradise. So, the believer holdfasts the Safeguard Adhikr, and thus he did holdfast Lord, and is guided into the Straight path as explained in verse 5: 48. See explanation 2: 257, 285; 3: 21-22 and 6: 153.
